St Mary's Nursing Home is situated in the picturesque canal town of Stone, Staffordshire. Specialising in nursing care for over 65's St Mary's is currently run by the English Dominican Sisters.

We have 58 single room, many of which have en-suite facilities and a number have a small seating area. All rooms are equipped to a high standard with connections for television and telephone if required. Residents are encouraged to bring in personal possessions and small items of furniture if they wish. All rooms are equipped with a nurse call system. There are two spacious, comfortable lounges and a light airy dining room in which residents can enjoy the well balanced meals from a varying menu which are freshly cooked in house.
Activities & Other Services
We have a dedicated Activity Co-ordinator whose role is to create, plan, organise and co-ordinate a stimulating and developing activity programme to enhance the quality of life of each resident. The programme includes bingo, skittles, arts and crafts, gentlemen’s mornings and a social evening on Fridays. There is a visiting hairdresser and a dedicated hair salon, and ladies mornings offering pampering sessions including foot spas and manicures. A number of visiting health professionals make a valuable contribution to the health provision at St Mary's.
St Mary's Nursing Home is a 58 bed Care home offering nursing care situated in the picturesque market town of Stone owned and run by the Dominican Sisters. The home is set in a town location, however residents benefit from extensive views of large and beautiful gardens. All bedrooms are single rooms, many with en-suite facilities and a number have a small seating area. Facilities include a chapel, a sensory room, a conservatory and several lounges. There is a summerhouse in the grounds and all areas of the home have access via stairs, ramps and passenger lifts. The visiting General Practitioners attend as required, and access is offered to a visiting optician and chiropodist.
